The exhibition at the Kunsthalle Wien recalls the display of Brancusi’s studio, shaped above all through the Endless Columns. The volumes transform in the light pouring in the “glass house”, and give the space a density and verticality, as if it were an “exotic forest”. Nature, light and space are activated through dynamic, stenographic accents. Engendered by formal analogies, analysis, appropriation and derivation of Brancusi’s modular basic elements, the works in the exhibition create a mental space, within the physical one, around Brancusi’s works that are almost invisible but present everywhere.

Anne Faucheret (Curator) leads a tour through the exhibition The Brancusi Effect. (in German)

All guided tours are free with admission.
