Blue Jasmine
USA 2013, 98 Min., Director: Woody Allen
Blue has a paradoxical meaning: on the one hand blue symbolises utopia, on the other hand it stands for depression. The colour blue has a positive aura, but ‘to feel blue’ means to be unhappy or bummed out - at least in America it is the case. In Blue Jasmine, Woody Allen takes Tennessee Williams’ drama A Streetcar Named Desire as a starting for his horror story about the present day world of high capitalism.
Free with admission. Admission is reduced to EUR 2 for all visitors during the Blue Hour, held daily from 5 pm – 7pm, Thursdays from 5 pm – 9 pm.
