Community College: Books as Black Boxes and Fortune Cookies

22/9 2019 2 pm — 6 pm

Can books be thought of as black boxes? Let’s browse the Hysterical Mining Library to (re)discover our connection with books, the way we look at them and how they address us. For empowering strategies of interaction and knowledge circulation in the digital realm, what can we learn from the often intimate emotions, the curiosities, anxieties, and attractions that books evoke in us – by both content and cover?

Bring a book, that you are currently reading, or that lies around unread on your bedside table!

The workshop takes place in the framework of the Community College Black Box Issues project week.
