On the closing day of Political Populism visitors can have their hair cut and styled for free at a hair cutting performance taking place from 2 – 5 pm at Kunsthalle Wien Museumsquartier.
The students of a vocational school at Kreitnergasse, 1160 Wien will create hairstyles ranging from pop to populist, and look forward to chatting with the visitors. Instead of receiving money for their performance, they will be paid in stories about art, politics and thoughts on the exhibition.
Cut & Talk is part of pART, a partnership between Kunsthalle Wien and the vocational school Kreitnergasse existing since 2014. The cooperation is financially supported by KulturKontakt Austria. In its second year, pART is focusing on performance art.
