On this walk, a stroll together in the city creates a collective space of movement dedicated to thinking, reflecting, remembering, and imagining other futures in urban space. To this end, we will visit several historical sites in Vienna’s 1st district where colonialism is still visible. We will prepare certain materials as well as choreographies for a performative utterance of relationships, which can remedy colonial imprints and open and affirm alliances in the city.
Hosted by: Decolonizing in Vienna (Carla Bobadilla, Peter Haselmayer, Marietta Mayrhofer-Deak, Gregor Seidl, Marcela Torres Heredia) and Andrea Hubin (Kunsthalle Wien)
