Voice-over: Tav Falco

“While the visual stimuli of stock market transactions appear anaemic, their mathematically-erratic generated moments stir the imagination enormously. Between invisibility and omnipotence, inconceivability and ad hoc access, time as an object and space as the transcendent medium of objectification, surreal dichotomies of relationships open up while perpetually seeking dissolution”.
Since the mid-1990s Gerald Nestler has been concerned with the agglomeration of ideas, fictions, methods and practices which, under the name of finance industry, take a paradigmatic role in the production of present-day social realities. Performance, installation, video, text, and voice encounter philosophy, science, and theory, meet in speculative laboratories, and produce experimental events that pit the experience of a contingent present against a derivatively-shaped future.

Tav Falco is an US-American musician, actor, documentary filmmaker and photographer. As of 1979 he is the head of the psychedelic rockband Tav Falco’s Panther Burns.
