Postwar modernist architecture often had an explicitly social component: The new way of building wanted to rethink society and to break with tradition in order to build models for a fairer, more social coexistence.
What are today’s models for housing? What are the ideas for the future of living? In times of investors architecture and rapidly rising rents, growing cities and incipient ghettoization even in Europe, the panel discusses alternative approaches in housing, new forms of cheaper architecture and the challenges of a social interaction.
