Julius Deutschbauer: Theater des Verhinderns

Performance
16/5 2013 8:15 pm
Museumsquartier

Thomas Bernhard spent many months in a sanatorium for respiratory diseases in Pongau. Sepp Schellhorn – gourmet chef, scholar of Bernhard-related literature, and organizer of the Goldegg im Pongau Thomas Bernhard Festival – feeds the guests in the “camp” on a long table with diced lung and mixed offal. The dishes will be served by Roman Glowacki and four homeless people wearing white gloves. During the whole procedure the Theater des Verhinderns members behave as actors might, or, sometimes, will do nothing.

Participants: Valerie Bauernfeind, Nada Burtscher, Julius Deutschbauer, Karin Ferrari, Roman Glowacki, Kerstin Haubold, David Jagerhofer, Heinz Pusitz, Sepp Schellhorn, Gabriel Schöller, Clemens Stecher, Mario Strk, Bernadette Stummer, Barbara Ungepflegt
