In 2008 the Luxembourgian EU Commissioner Viviane Reding advocated for the disposal of International Women’s Day: still having to celebrate Women’s Day means that we do not have equality …
Indeed International Women’s Day on March 8 is still relevant and important. This year Kunsthalle Wien has asked artist Stefanie Seibold to design a poster which deals with the history of the women’s movement and shows that many of the concerns addressed by historical feminism are still just as important today.
2000 copies of this A2 format poster are available for free at Kunsthalle Wien and will hopefully find their way to an array of many different places.
