Barbara Kruger?s (*1945 in Newark, lives in New York and Los Angeles) influential work has appeared in numerous forms, from T-shirts to the walls and floors of an entire subway station. She broaches political and social issues from a feminist and consumerist-critical angle of view.
Kruger is also teaching, among others, at the University of California (UCLA) in Los Angeles.
