Tim Sharp was born in Scotland and studied law at Nottingham and King’s College, London. Over the years he has been concerned in his artwork with the mechanisms and patterns of power involved in the construction of historical, cultural and personal memory as well as the intersecting social and political issues in the context of neo-liberal capitalism. His lens-based works also explore the mutability of the documentary assertion made by such images and their relationship to sound. Sharp has taken part in many national and international art shows and screenings.
In his guided tour he will talk about the overlaps between Rajkamal Kahlon’s concerns with colonialism, racism, and capitalism concerns and his own artistic practice.
