A reporter and writer for GQ and Vogue, Anne Philippi has now published her debut novel “Giraffen”. It follows Henry and Eva, a glitzy society couple from Berlin during the ‘Nullerjahre’ (2000s) who have lost all hold on reality in a spiraling vortex of booze, coke and vitamin injections. The book was praised as ‘Christiane F on Champagne’.
Mavie Hörbiger, celebrated actress in the movies and theater will read from “Giraffen” with Anne Philippi. Since 2011 she is part of the ensemble at the Burgtheater in Vienna and has worked with directors Stefan Bachmann, Luc Bondy, Michael Laub, Annette Raffalt, Stephan Kimmig or Barbara Frey.
