Rehearsing the Future
Talk with Sabeth Buchmann, Kai van Eikels, Romana Schmalisch / Robert Schlicht

Rehearsing the Future critically reflects on collective and performative practices used in businesses that claim to represent participatory dynamics and strategies of conflict removal.

Subjectivity, creativity and individuality, but also professionality and flexibility are increasingly being demanded on the labour market – with massive impacts on body and psyche. The adoption of methods of corporate theatre and other performative and speculative methods of problem solving – especially techniques of improvisation and virtuosity – will be critically examined during this discussion.
