ROTOR is a series of events on experimentation, discourse and intermediality initiated and curated by Michael Fischer in 2020, based on the broad topos of sound as an ephemeral, sculptural metaphor – its representations and discursive options. ROTOR has been taking place at the Factory / Künstlerhaus Wien since the beginning. Mainstays of the Vienna music scene, Rent and Misonica convey strong visions of sound and storytelling in multilayered ambient sets.
