What colour characterizes Mariah Carey? What qualifies an artistic practice as black? Thomas Meinecke, german author and musician, reads from his novel Hellblau (Pale Blue), which focuses on the analysis of the drawing up of ethnic boundaries. Pale blue is the colour from which, presumably, all humans are equidistant, it is the colour of utopia, and that of the flower of romanticism. Meinecke’s reading will be followed by a talk.
