Through the Time-Travel-Tunnel into the City of the Future!

From Monday to Thursday and on Saturday we beam through the Time-Travel-Tunnel into the city of the future. We will experiment with a range of forms and materials, build fantastic houses and wondrous structures, make futuristic collages, look at the ideas of artists such as Ralo Mayer, Olaf Nicolai, Hans Schabus, and Anna Witt, and think about how lively and colourful the city of the future will be.

Sat 7/7 until Sat 28/7, Mon – Thu, Sat, 10 am – 12.30 pm

The workshops, for children from 6 to 10 years, are part of the WienXtra Ferienspiel.

Costs: EUR 2 / with Kinderaktivcard free

After five weeks of planning, experimenting and building we celebrate a grand opening party! Over the next weeks you have plenty of time to discover the exhibition and to take a look at what’s been built.

The exhibition project Space for Kids. A Dream City has been developed by the art education department of Kunsthalle Wien in co-operation with artists Cäcilia Brown and Johann Schoiswohl.

With contributions by Ralo Mayer, Olaf Nicolai, Hans Schabus and Anna Witt.

Free admission for the exhibition for children and teens under 19.
