Werner Feiersinger’s artistic interests span from the architecture of Le Corbusier and Italian postwar Modernism to minimalist sculpture. His photographic and sculptural works approach these topics with less of an investigative nature and more with curious fascination towards their abstract forms and their functional components.
Together with his brother Martin Feiersinger he published the books “Italo Modern” which form a subjective compendium of experimental and expressive architecture of northern Italy, the known and unknown buildings from an era marked by optimism and imagination.
In conversation with Vanessa Joan Müller, Werner Feiersinger will discuss his engagement with past modernity.
