How is it possible to talk about racism, sexism, and discrimination?
What does it take? And above all –- WHO is allowed to do it? And when?
Who may object?

These and other questions about the unspoken rules of social order will be addressed in a one-week workshop from February 1 to 6, 2021. Under the direction of director Nina Kusturica, participants will explore the mechanisms of power and powerlessness and their influence on our understanding of the world. The aim is to stimulate critical thinking, but also to face uncomfortable questions about one’s own perception. We will also try out ways to playfully and humorously evade an external classification and thereby open up a new space for artistic creativity.
Filmic and technical means as well as performative forms of expression will be used. We will discuss, develop, fantasize, photograph, film, play, and perform. The resulting video works will be presented on February 6.

Due to the current COVID-19 measures, the events will take place in virtual space.
