The exhibition ?Sex in the City? deals with the transformation of Eros in a highly rationalized, thoroughly economized urban environment in the media and Internet age, where there is often a mediator between sexual desire and its satisfaction (telephone sex, erotic chats in the Internet, etc.). Sex loses its directness in the virtual era but gains a phantasmic dimension that situates it in an interstitial realm, where desire and pleasure are often articulated as a copulation of the nerve track.
