As part of Defiant Muses. Delphine Seyrig and the Feminist Video Collectives of 1970s and 1980s France, Julia Hartmann will guide through the exhibition and at the same time take a critical look at feminist achievements from then to now: what has changed and, in particular, what has not?

Julia Hartmann is an art historian and freelance curator whose work specializes in transnational feminist and activist art. In her curatorial work she focuses on the intersection of social movements, digitalization and feminism. She is Associate Curator for the VIENNA ART WEEK and co-directs SALOON Vienna, a network for women in art, with Aline Lara Rezende and Doris Richter. She worked as curatorial assistant on Defiant Muses.

The admission is free, we kindly ask you to register via besucherservice@kunsthallewien.at or at the box office of Kunsthalle Wien.
