Community Projects
Kunsthalle Wien is committed to creating inclusive, accessible programmes for diverse publics. We work with a range of groups and organisations in our local community to demonstrate how exciting and important contemporary art can be for society.
It is part of our mission to create opportunities for everyone to engage with contemporary art – including those who have had little access. We develop special projects with a range of community partners including social and cultural organisations, schools and others that work with disadvantaged groups who can benefit from art and creative activities. The education team at Kunsthalle Wien works in close collaboration with partners and often also artists and curators to develop bespoke projects and activities. In doing so we aim to break down barriers, highlight the potential of contemporary art and encourage mutual, creative and intellectual exchange.
