Sponsorship and Fundraising

Do you have a passion for contemporary art, experience in fundraising and/or sponsorship, and are you looking for a new challenge? If so, we look forward to receiving your application for this varied and exciting role within the team at the Kunsthalle Wien – an institution of Stadt Wien Kunst GmbH. We are looking for an experienced professional to take responsibility for the planning, implementation and further development of third-party funding acquisition – from sponsorship to fundraising.

You will be primarily responsible for the planning, implementation and monitoring of the acquisition of third-party funding from both public and private sources. This essentially encompasses sponsorship and fundraising in both institutional and individual contexts. Working closely with the artistic and financial directors, the head of marketing, and across departments within Stadt Wien Kunst GmbH, you will be tasked with realising strategic and operational objectives, strategies and measures.

Start of contract/employment: as soon as possible
Duration: permanent
Scope of employment: full-time/ 40 hours per week
Working hours: Monday to Friday
Flexible working hours model, optional home office arrangement
Minimum salary: 3,300 gross per month on a full-time basis (paid 14 times a year). Overpayment is possible and will be agreed individually on the basis of your experience and qualifications.

Internship in the Communication Department

Are you passionate about communications in the arts and keen to actively support the team at the Kunsthalle Wien? We are looking for an eager intern to join our Communications and Marketing department from 1 July 2026.

Start of contract/employment: 1.7.2026
Duration: 6 month
Scope of employment: part-time/15 hours per week
Working hours: Flexible working time model
Internship remuneration: 500,- per month
