neunerhaus x Kunsthalle Wien: New Perspectives between Art and Everyday Life
The cooperation between neunerhaus and Kunsthalle Wien shows that cultural participation is not a luxury, but can and should be accessible to everyone. The Kunsthalle Wien organises workshops for people affected by homelessness. It gives neunerhaus users the opportunity to gain new perspectives, develop their creativity and strengthen their self-confidence.
During a behind-the-scenes tour, participants gain insights into the various departments and areas of responsibility at Kunsthalle Wien and experience how a vibrant cultural institution works. The programme also includes dialogical tours and discussions in the exhibitions, which deepen the exchange about the artworks and themes. Following the tour, participants can get creative themselves in a hands-on workshop, implement their own ideas and try out different artistic techniques.
Kunsthalle Wienβs programme focuses on facilitating encounters on an equal footing. In this way, art is not only brought to life, but a space for personal development and inspiration is also created.
