Dieter Roelstraete on the Miracle of Harald Thys and Jos de Gruyter

Belgian curator and writer Dieter Roelstraete will discuss central motifs within the work of Jos de Gruyter and Harald Thys and their contextualisation within a philosophical history of ideas. The focus of his talk will be less on the artists’ current exhibition at Kunsthalle Wien Museumsquartier, but the consistent development of their oeuvre, which ultimately let to the ambiguous installation Das Wunder des Lebens.
