Juliane Bischoff

The curator of the exhibition, Juliane Bischoff, talks about the artistic practice of Kate Newby.

In direct confrontation with the architecture of the glass pavilion and incorporating Karlsplatz’ immediate environs, Newby develops discrete works that rely on conventional building materials and establish a connection to the built environment as well as to the way the surrounding space is used on a daily basis.
