Kunsthalle Wien will install a tree decorated by artists in the Ziegelfoyer at the Museumsquartier for the Artists’ Market on Sunday, 7 December. More than thirty artists living and working in Vienna have been invited to make decorations that will be sold to raise funds for a new inclusion programming that the Kunsthalle plans to introduce in 2026. The decorations include drawings, photographs, ceramics and other unique objects that will be sold for a flat-rate of € 50. The sale will open with the Artists’ Market at 10 am and items will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Last year, Kunsthalle Wien established a new Atelier for outreach, inclusion and educational programmes at its Museumsquartier premises, providing the opportunity to increase visibility for and expand upon the work that we do with diverse publics. Kunsthalle Wien is introducing new collaborations and partnerships in 2026. With this special project we hope to finance a new cooperation with Ohrenschmaus, an organisation that seeks to discover and promote talented writers with learning difficulties: Together, we plan to create and host a series of writing workshops at our Atelier. Inspired by the exhibitions at Kunsthalle Wien, the workshops aim to promote inclusion and exchange by combining art, literature and creative writing.
