For almost five decades, the French photo agency Magnum has been dedicated to documenting the international film scene. To mark the centenary of cinema, Magnum has opened its archives and compiled material by its star photographers – including Robert Capa, Henri Cartier-Bresson, David Seymour, Eve Arnold, Philippe Halsman and Inge Morath – into an international travelling exhibition.
A collaboration between Kunsthalle Wien and the project hundertjahrekino by the Federal Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts.
