Claudia Reifberger: Blue Jeans, ready to where?

Besides T-shirts, blue jeans are probably the most successful piece of clothing in the Western world. Claudia Reifberger (Lecturer at the Fashion Department, University of Applied Arts Vienna) presents the history of one of the most iconic clothing items. While discussing outstanding trends in jeans fashion, Reifberger is also referring to the industry, highlighting the current production conditions, and the newest developments in the discourse on sustainability, ecology and political correctness.
