Andreas Brunner – a long-standing historian, curator and city guide, as well as a founding member of Qwien – will join Martin Walkner from Kunsthalle Wien's education department in guiding visitors through Richard Hawkins’ exhibition Potentialities. In his large-format paintings, Hawkins explores desire – particularly gay desire – and engages with historical and contemporary figures and their work. In doing so, he draws on a wide range of archival material. Following the tour, we will visit the newly opened Qwien, the Association for Queer Culture and History in the 5th district. There, the discussion will be deepened and supplemented by an exclusive insight into the archive.

Meeting point: 5:30pm at the ticket desk at Kunsthalle Wien Museumsquartier
