ORF Long Night of Museums

On Saturday, October 6th 2017 the Long Night of Museums takes place all over Austria. Museums and galleries open their doors from 6 pm to 1 am for night owls with an interest in culture.

6.30 – 7.30 pm Peng. A Journey into the Labyrinth of PicturesA workshop for children up to 12 years

After discovering the exhibition, we will work on an oversized floor collage of patterns, shapes and colours.

8 – 9 pm What Remains of PicturesThis guided tour is dedicated to the question of what we remember from the daily flood of newspaper images and whether the pictures are still legible without their original context.

9 – 10 pm Hörbilder im GehenSpecial Program

Students of the MAE degree course at the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna will interpret the exhibition with instruments, voice and body and invite you to participate in the performative tour through the archive of the media images.
